I am not totally sure this is the proper spelling of this manufacturer. This name is stamped on the longer ice piton that shares the same steel, thickness and shape of the shorter ring piton, but the manufacturer stamp is a little fuzzy. I am searching for the real spelling and history of these pitons. The shorter piton is unmarked with no manufacturer stamp. The larger ice piton is stamped "Accennofor" "Swiss Made". The shorter piton shows up in the 1939 Italian Equipment Catalog as product # 2060.
The 1939 Italian Equipment catalog page is from the Vertical Archaeology website and shows historic artifacts from the Ashby Robertson collection.
