I am searching for information on Alex Lienert but not really turning up anything. So far I have seen crampons and pitons made by Alex Lienert. Alex Lienert products date back to the 1930s.

A few years back on ebay three Alex Lienert pitons surfaced and I was able to win two of the three auctions. They are in mint condition and are very well crafted!!

Alex Lienert ring piton
- Blade is square in shape (four sided) - Small cuts on the piton blade suggests that it can be used for ice climbing as well.
