Black Diamond ice screw

December 1989 Black Diamond became, and took over the Chouinard Equipment company. Marks were added to the left over Chouinard product surplus, and were added to new products still marked Chouinard, but were in a design transition to getting remarked Black Diamond. So this ice screw sure looks like a Chouinard 1989 product, but the diamond in the square mark shows that this is a Black Diamond 1990 product.
