The C-diamond manufacturers mark is within the "Black" word.

Gary Storrick found a different version of the Black Diamond nut tool with Long hole. The "C-diamond" manufacturers mark is between the words "Black" and "Diamond." So year date is sometime between 1996 and possibly 2002. I say possibly because Black Diamond could have created the nut tool short hole version previous to 2003, but didn't add the new photo in their catalog until it definitely shows in 2003.

The 2010 nut tool version has a added hump in the top hole for opening beer bottles.
