I attended the comp and was not competing but coaching my athlete, NEO. So I got a lot of good photos of NEO climbing the problems. NEO was a 1/2 hour late to the comp but still ended up topping out on 29 of the 30 boulder problems - Intermediate category. In the raffle NEO won the Organic crashpad.
Marty's review: Easily 5 out of 5 stars. Great show!! Many different styles of Problems were set from big overhangs to technical slabs. The problems were easy to follow. We were in the afternoon session which had a lot of people climbing, but the wait to get onto the problems was not long and competitors had 3 hours to climb. The weather was unseasonably cool and in the finals I was glad I brought my jacket with me. Vendors were showing goods in their booths and a food truck was on site. The finals was beautifully put together. Music was upbeat exciting and loud and complimented the light show they were putting on. Big PROPS to the comp MC's which kept the energy flowing. Big PROPS to the BP staff. Big PROPS to Justin Wagner and the course setting crew.
