This is the photo that started the fun! Terri with the Patagonia Archives finding the Chouinard display at the AZ Hiking Shack 2017. The Chouinard equipment display was created in 2014 at my house, then installed at the AZ Hiking Shack in Phoenix. When the display was planned to be moved to Patagonia Corporate in 2018, I redid many of the original display boards adding new wordage and adding many more Chouinard items that I obtained through the years. The Hiking Shack display was created to show the many Chouinard items that I had in the museum. When it came to being displayed at Patagonia corporate, I wanted it to become a complete work of historical brilliance presented by the Karabin Climbing Museum. and forth adjusting the main Chouinard history story for the display. Then the display boards were brought to the display location in Ventura where Alex Laine was already building the display cabinet that Patagonia agreed to have built. Talk about being totally excited!!! This display became a dream come true!! I assisted Alex with the construction then added my display boards to it. The display remained covered until the glass company arrived and installed the protective glass doors. Then Terri further added her touch of her Patagonia displays to accompany the Chouinard Equipment display. Many props goes to Patagonia.
