When I first started climbing, on my second day climbing I was on the Cholla Traverse route on Camelback Mountain. I made it to the first belay ledge and was happily belaying. Then suddenly one of the two bolt anchors ripped away from the wall. It was quite exciting, and I figured I just gained a collectable from that adventure. Little did I know at that time that the bolt I was holding was the beginning of the Karabin Climbing Museum.

Warren Harding also pounded in a few bolts on this aid route. The route got sent free in one of the early Phoenix Bouldering Contests.

Out of every route on Camelback Mtn, this crack chimney was the most crumbly. While climbing the route, two bolts broke on me simply by weighting the hangers.
