​- The article mentions Clogwyn pitons, and also Hexagonal shape chocks.
It is known that Clog was making the Single Hole Wedge chocks starting in 1966. Maybe the larger wired WedgeWedge nuts were first made in 1967? The Chouinard 1968 catalog lists 6 sizes of Single Hole Wedges, and also a #1 Single Hole Wedge wired.

- Differences between #3 (1st generation) "left" untumbled and downward bevel, and #3 (1st generation) "right" full hole bevel.

- Differences between #5 (1st generation) "right" which has downward hole bevel, and #5 (third generation) "left" which has full hole bevel. Notice chock size differences and hole size differences.
The Clog Single Hole Wedge was made between 1966 and ending 1975. The #1 wired and #1 slung Single Hole Wedge was discontinued around 1970.

The 1969/1970 Ski Hut catalog shows that the first generation of wired Wedges were open loops of wire and no plastic wire keeper. However the wire keeper is present on the #1 wired Single Hole Wedge in the catalog photo.
Stephane's photo shows the .5 and #1 having a plastic wire keeper. I am not sure if the # .5 was offered to the public. 
Showing in the 1968/1969 Chouinard catalogs is the wordage of there being a"Wedge-Wedge small and Large sizes" wired. Since there are no numbers associated with these two wedges it makes me believe that there are two different size CLOG Wedge items out there that have no number marks on them. Maybe eventually these became the Two Hole Wedge items that eventually had 4 sizes?

Eiger 1970 catalog. Not sure if the listing shows a mistake, but Item # 411609 shows a CLOG #9 Wedge on wire. The largest offered size of the Two Hole Wedges on wire is #4. So the listed #6 and #9 Wedges on wire are both "unknowns."

- Slung Two Hole Wedges.

- The September 1974 CLOG pricelist shows three sizes of Slung Wedges being available. The 1975 Ellis Brigham catalog shows only #3, and 4, but shows #3 as "New". So possibly late 1974 the Slung Wedges were first introduced?

Not sure why the first generation slung Two Hole Wedge is larger, which equals the nut size of the wired Two Hole Wedge. By the time the Slung nuts became available the second generation mark was already in creation.
