Crash Pads

In the question of who first manufactured the crash pad and offered it to the public, it looks like it comes down to two manufacturers, Black Diamond and Kinnaloa.

Black Diamond 1993 dealer products catalog showing what products are coming out in 1994. My guess is this BD catalog was made in June 1993. Showing the SPOT. Landing pad, pack.
