- EGO -
How Cool Is It That You Are In The Game.

Every morning when I wake up I say aloud the statement: “How cool is it that you are in the game.”

If this statement is followed by a question mark (?), that shows “Self Doubt.”

If this statement is followed by a exclamation mark (!) that shows that “Ego is within the Whole.”

I find it important to hold firmly to this understanding that the statement energy works best if followed by a (.) period. The period brings forth the confident self without the need of egos whispers, which attempts to take full control of the self.

Be the self . It feels divine and honorable.

………………………….........................................

- Bringing ego into the statement - (exclamation mark (!).
Example: Marty has entered the climbing competition and is hoping to win and stand on the podium. The competition is about to begin and it is super exciting! Marty shouts to him-self: “How cool is it that you are in the game! With exclamation mark(!). The Ego is now in the Whole. Marty prepared for months to win this competition, now showing his bulging muscles for the crowd to witness. Marty climbed at his best and scored tons of points, but missed his chance at standing on the podium, by only 10 points. (Pause)… Marty took fourth place. Ego did all it could to schemingly find easier ways to successfully climb the climbing routes presented. Marty feels the disappointment, it feels unfair. Now ego joins the human emotions in attempt to comfort ego’s perceived failure: “Maybe climbing is not for me” (This is typically the first thought, which gives ego rebounding energy), “The routes were not set correctly,” “I didn’t like the energy of the gym,” “Too many people in the comp,” “Oh the cost was too high,” “If I owned a gym, I would have done this that and the other thing differently,” etc, etc, etc.

- Bringing the Self into the statement - (period (.).
Let’s look at this in a different way by replacing the exclamation mark with a period. Marty has entered the climbing competition and is hoping to win and stand on the podium. The competition is about to begin and it is super exciting! Marty shouts to him-self: “How cool is it that you are in the game.” With a period. The self is in control, and then the self “invites” ego to join the self. Suddenly a feeling of not fear but psyche grows within. During the climbing, more calculations are received of how to best climb and reserve energy to successfully climb the many different routes. The self and ego work together as close partners, but all thoughts are separate and ego becomes the best On-the-spot coach Marty can have, especially when the grip becomes weak and the route has only two holds to go. (Pause)…. Marty took fourth place. As the climbers that scored better than Marty stood up and took their place on the podium, Marty was the loudest spectator of the entire crowd that was cheering them on. The only thing that was on Marty’s mind, was that he was in the comp, and it was great fun. Everybody could see Marty’s genuine self, through the continuous smile, that his ego was displaying! Disappointment now becomes a new form of psyche and already Marty is excited to be in the next comp. Can’t stop thinking about how much fun it was!! - “Sparklers” “Cheering” “Confetti.”

Ego is a great tool for a person to have in life, but when ego demands to be in control of the self, look how quickly the self falls out of control when things are not aligning within ego’s expectation.

When the self is partnered with ego, balance is achieved, but first it begins with the self, then the ego is invited to join in which gives the selfs expectations a partner both being on the same mission.
