I was invited by Omega Pacific Inc to place a Karabin Climbing Museum display into their display booth at the 2015 Outdoor Retailers Show in Salt Lake City. The display will have to be created in such a way that it can be attached to a slat wall display system. Robert Olson was able to premeasure the wall for me from a previous show. At these Outdoor Retailer Shows I usually want to travel light since many manufacturers fill my hands with gear trinkets and prototypes to be placed into the museum. Also I am traveling by airplane. So bringing to the show a huge amount of climbing gear to show is adding a lot more onto my shoulders on being able to bring everything back home. However it is a honor to have somewhere for my museum to be on display within this show of so many manufacturers and gear designers. A huge THANKS goes out to Omega Pacific Inc overall!!!! For this 2015 Summer show I chose nut tools to be the main focus of the display. On the display I designed a locking system so once the two main gear boards are attached to the wall, they will require tools to remove them which is my security system. The two main boards are sized to perfectly fit into a hard shell suitcase so the display does not get damaged during transport.
