Struggle Bus Finals 2022 - NOTES:

- 87 Competitors made it into the comp finals.
- To further spread out the competitors, 19 boulder problems were set in the Lead Area.
- Two side event challenges were set up for the competitors to gain extra raffle tickets during the event. Fastest times on the side events wins a prize. Plus only the competitors that participate in the side events go into the side event raffles.
Fastest times:
- Lord Of The Rings: Kalea K. 21.37 seconds
(Traverse climbing holds left moving quickdraws from one ring to another, then traverse right - back to start moving quickdraws to their original starting rings. Large dice roll determines how many additional raffle tickets the competitor receives).
- A Question Of Balance: Shane O. 13.83 seconds
(Walk balance beam while holding one wooden spoon with tennis ball. Walking the beam with two wooden spoons and two tennis balls gains a extra raffle ticket).

The comp T-shirt art was made by Cat Ruiz. The free Tshirts the competitors received were the green color version. The PRG staff had a choice between green, maroon or blue shirt colors.

The AZ Hiking Shack donated a Metolius crash pad for what we call "The Ca$h Pad raffle.
- Everybody is allowed to purchase raffle tickets
- $1.00 per raffle ticket
- First ticket drawn wins the crash pad
- Second ticket drawn wins the cash

To keep people honest with which category they personally choose to climb in, for this years comp we were presenting the rule that if you climb greater than the category brackets you first signed up to be in, then your category placement will be bumped up to the higher category. Overall rule is 5 problem discipline for final score so climb 3 problems higher than your category and you will be bumped.

However in this comp, nobody got bumped! Everybody chose the correct category that they should be in.
