PRG - Stuff

Old impact drill used at the PRG.
I remember using this monster to strip the Hueco top rope large overhang while climbing it on aid.
Wow this beast is still heavy!
circa 1992 - 2001

Original top rope anchor used at the PRG, Roosevelt location.
circa 1992 - 2000
I asked Dief what the green plastic pieces were for that is on one of the anchors.
He said that particular one anchor was for the original Slab wall, and there was a green plastic dinosaur that squeeked attached to it. The kids squeaking the dinosaur repetitively didn't last long.

PRG - Real rock artificial wall - Built by Bruce Ambrose, Canyon Creations.
The original wall was built December 1997 at the PRG Roosevelt location. When the gym moved to the University location, the wall was designed into being a corner, where additional panels for the corner were built for the 2001 gym reopening. The wall panels were constructed of rebar and concrete using a mold, and nine bolts attach each panel to the wall frame. I think there are 6 different panel designs total that are turned in different positions which gives this corner walls their real rock look.
