This display case was originally built in 2006 for the AZ Cliff Hanger climbing store in the Phoenix Rock Gym. The display is located half way up the stairs going into the Karabin Climbing museum at the Phoenix Rock Gym. I started getting so many climbing schwag items that I figured it was a good way to store the items as well as share the items with everybody. The overall display layout was created at my house then later transferred to the rock gym. The display is not just about cramming a lot of stuff in one place, but laying it out as a art piece. Completed 12/2014.

This is the original stairs display made in 2006. It was basically just a bunch of fun historic climbing gear items thrown in a case for show. You can see how dusty the items within the case became over a few years. This was my first display case that I didn't fully seal with tape etc to keep the gym chalk dust out. The chalk dust won!
