The International Sport Climbing Championship
Snowbird Utah - Ski resort Wall is located on the west end of the Cliff Lodge. June 6 -12, 1988 Jeff Lowe - Director 115 foot tall wall, cost $155,000 $17,400 in prizes - The wall was designed by FFKR Architects/Planners who built the two triangle and Roof features. It is made out of plywood reinforced with fiberglass resin. The climbing surface is made of fine garnet crystals to create the required surface friction. Sport Climbing Systems made the wall climbing panels and climbing holds. - 15 semi (5.12d) / 20 final (5.13b) - minutes climb time to complete the route. Course was designed by Kim Carrigan.
