The earliest mention of Stubai ice pitons I can find is in the "Good Companions" Catalogue c.1959. The longest ice piton shown may be a Stubai, showing what looks like a feint mfg mark, but not 100% sure. All three ice pitons have a Austria mark on them. The drawing of the ice pitons in the Good Companions Catalogue look more like the longest of the three ice pitons in the photo. The teeth cuts on the shaft are spread evenly throughout. On the two shorter ice pitons the teeth cuts are close together on one side near the tip, and on the opposite side near the piton eye. Note: The two shorter ice pitons may be a transition piece from F.Ralling into Stubai (Late 1950s).
