T&D 2008 COMP NOTES:
The 2008 T&D comp was totally awesome!!
- We noticed a smaller turnout of competitors than we expected. Possibly due to the comp date being at the beginning of summer where schools are out and people are traveling for the summer.
- Comp cost increase to $25.00
Dief created a few, I think it was 12 of them, metal plates with manufacturer sponsor logos on them. The plates were sent to the sponsors as a way of thanking the sponsors for sponsoring the T&D event. This plate shows the Prana logo. Blacksmith method of using 12 volt electric current on the metal while soaking in water with washing soda. This gives the metal a pitted antique look. The flat unpitted areas were protected by a thick sticker while soaking. Desert Rat Forge.
The Elite category received cash for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placements plus a comp ribbon
