In 2011, two passionate shapers, Ryan Wurm and Mark Bradley, began carving quality holds for the climbing industry from one small garage in Phoenix, Arizona. Since these humble beginnings, Thrive has expanded into one of the premier climbing hold manufacturers of North America, with over 400 shapes on the market.

From Ryan: “I started rock climbing when I was about 8 years old. My school had a little rock wall in the gymnasium and we had a club that met every week to climb after school. After leaving that school, I stopped rock climbing until I was 17. A couple of friends invited me to go to a local gym here in Tempe, and after the first day, I was hooked again. I spent the majority of my time in the gym after class and eventually started working there. All I could ever think about was rock climbing.”
