For years we have created the main climbing competition at the Phoenix Rock Gym named the Thrash & Dangle Fest. But in setting this type of competition the entire gym was disrupted. So we created a different competition named the Struggle Bus bouldering series. Each month as we reset one of the two bouldering areas, we reopen the bouldering area with a climbing competition. Each competition was created differently being either a Redpoint competition, Endurance competition, a On Site Flash competition, etc. Competitors that climb in three of the six mini competitions held over a six month period automatically are entered into a free Finals Struggle Bus competition. For the Finals competition the main awards are competition ribbons, and all of the prizes that are donated by sponsors for the competition are raffled off to the competitors. So everybody has a chance to win great prizes!!!
