The wheels on this mandala were forming beautifully, but where the wheels intersect each other I was looking for a fitting design. What I came up with I wasn't really feeling at the time so I put the piece to the side and never completed it. Named "Pinwheel." The piece was drawn in May 1984. 15 1/2" x 15 1/2" red and black ink on white poster board. 75 hours.

I was working on this mandala named "Circus" in May 1984 and I put it to the side and I guess I never got back to completing it. I guess I can just put my signature on it now and call it completed. It came out beautiful! 15 1/2" x 15 1/2" red and black ink on white poster board.

For this mandala I was seeking for it to be so incredibly detailed, it would be mind blowing. And yet the detail would be perfect in uniformity. Named "Detailed Ecstasy." This piece I was working on in December 1983 but never completed it. Overall I guess I can just sign the piece and call it completed at this time. 15 1/2" x 15 1/2" black ink on white poster board. 350 hours.
