I'm not sure where this art idea came from but it turned out strangely interesting. Named "Coloured Rain." Completed February 1984. 15 1/2" x 15 1/2" color markers on white poster board. 8 hours.

For this mandala named "Inside Out" I was experimenting with color pens to see what values of art it would create. I believe this art piece led to the string art ink pen larger mandala I gave to my parents in 1984. 22" x 22." Completed November 1984. This art piece was ruined in a house flood. 100 hours. |

I was seeking for a mandala that was three dimensional so I came up with a idea of using toothpicks being placed into a styrofoam ball. Each toothpick was partially dipped in color paint and once completed the ball was glued to a foam core board. Simple but fun. Named "A Porcupines Ass." Completed December 1985. 14" x 18" color paint on white foam core board. 20 hours.
