I was looking for something unique in a mandala so I came up with a idea of gluing plastic ants and flies to the white poster board which created the mandala design. Named "Bug Eyed." I figured the viewer would look at this piece in a far distant view seeing a mandala, then when viewed closer they would realize it was all created with plastic insects. The piece was never completed but was worked on in May 1984. 15 1/2" x 15 1/2."

This mandala named "The Puzzle" was created strictly for a photo to be taken of it, and then was taken apart and put back into boxes. The base is a three foot round table and the mandala is created with dice of many shapes, and plastic sword carrying characters. This goes back to my Dungeons and Dragons days. This was a quick built mandala created within 4 hours in July 1985. A fun rainy day project.
